Initial Screening

Review the project program, location, site constraints, available plans, anticipated wastewater and water demands, fire-water applicability, and known regulatory issues.

Typical result: preliminary pathway, information request, and proposal for the appropriate next phase.

Feasibility & Preliminary Engineering

Develop the design basis, evaluate GIS and site information, estimate flow and loading, compare treatment and disposal alternatives, identify permitting pathways, and establish preliminary cost and schedule implications.

Typical result: feasibility memorandum or Preliminary Engineering Report with a recommended path forward.

Regulatory Strategy & Agency Coordination

Confirm the applicable local and state requirements, coordinate pre-application questions where appropriate, and assemble the technical basis for the selected authorization.

Typical result: defined submittal requirements, regulatory strategy, and permit-support scope.

Engineering Design

Prepare calculations, equipment criteria, treatment and conveyance design, storage and pumping requirements, disposal layouts, plan sets, specifications, and supporting engineering documentation.

Typical result: permit-ready or construction-ready engineering package appropriate to the project.

Permitting & Review Support

Submit or support submittal of the application package, coordinate technical responses, address agency comments within the authorized scope, and maintain a clear record of project decisions.

Typical result: permit support through the agreed review milestone.

Implementation & Construction Support

Review selected equipment, answer RFIs, evaluate proposed changes, perform authorized site observations, assist with startup, and document final engineering decisions.

Typical result: construction-phase engineering records and startup support tailored to the system.
